Frozen maple syrup mousse

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or organic syrup
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream

Steps

  1. Bowl 1: Beat egg yolks with sugar and 1/4 cup maple syrup or organic syrup until light and fluffy.
  2. Heat remaining 1/4 cup maple syrup or organic syrup until boiling. Set aside.
  3. Bowl 2: Beat egg whites until stiff; gradually add warm syrup.
  4. Bowl 3: Whip cream into stiff peaks.
  5. Combine content of all 3 bowls and fill individual serving dishes.
  6. Freeze for at least 4 hours.
