The progression of the maple syrup industry, over time, has been constant and unstoppable.
Our family business has both witnessed and contributed to this growth since the beginning of the 19th century.
We maintain a level of quality in our product and services, due to our expertise, which contributes to the expansion of our industry.
A SPOUT DRIPPING ON THE PLANET
Quebec consumers are no longer the only ones to include maple syrup on their grocery list.
The products of « Les Industries Bernard & Fils » are found in more than forty countries.
In addition, we have expansion projects in about 15 « new » countries in Europe, Asia and South America.
This growth plan must include marketing to promote our syrup, and learning the food habits in these countries.
We rely, among other things, on the craze for « natural sugars » and the attraction of an « exotic » product to convince this new clientele.
We must also present our “sweet nectar” as an advantageous substitute for the refined sugars and other derivatives used in the traditional recipes of these countries.

We strive to create a direct link between the origin of our product and its usefulness in the recipes of our customers around the world.
In order to do this, we have local partners within our “corporate family”, in each country, who know the history of our product while being in touch with the daily food habits of the population.
This tireless groundwork allows us not only to maintain our achievements but also to develop new markets on the international scene.
A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS
We are constantly looking for ways to make our company shine more and more on the international scene.
That is why we recently signed an agreement with « Valeo Foods », which distributes its products in more than 100 countries around the world.
We hope to double our sales, in the next 5 years, which will allow us to create new jobs in Quebec.
This evolution in our company does not change our commitment to offer the purity of the product harvested from the tree to end up on your table.
